In some cases we may have to add support in the basement or crawlspace. This may require the plans to be approved by an engineer to make sure everything is built correctly. This can turn into a costly plan for your home addition. For some homes though their might not be yard space to expand the 1st floor so building up is the only way.
Another great option is to build out the first floor to add or expand on the rooms in your home. With our Home Addition service we pour a solid foundation that will met up perfectly with your existing structure. This will provide a seamless transition in the rooms. We protect against any movement in the new foundation by properly wrapping the outside and installing a sump pit to move any ground water that may affect the transition.
If your addition is already built, we can rough in your plumbing. We have worked in new construction of homes for years. This has allowed us to be super efficient and code complaint in all of our projects. We can connect your water lines and drains to where you need them to be.
