Check to see if sediment is clogging the surface and clean it out. In extreme cases you might want to soak it in vinegar over night. There are things to look out for when reinstalling the aerator. First make sure the o-ring, the plastic or rubber piece inside, is not worn out, if so you will need to replace it so it does not leak. Second make sure you tighten it well otherwise it might cause your faucet to leak.
